Agent
CareMap Agent overview
Ask the CareMap Agent for help with available content and supported actions.
The CareMap Agent answers questions using the content you can access and can complete a limited set of supported actions.
What the Agent can do
Use Agent to:
- ask general questions or search Guides, files, Courses, References, and other supported workspace sources;
- ask how CareMap features, permissions, statuses, and workflows work;
- inspect available schedules and lightweight Guide details;
- calculate an expression or create a Note after a clear request; and
- continue work in the Guide or Form Agent while that item is open in its editor.
The Agent may show tool activity and source links while it works. A read-only question does not change your content. The Agent should only make a supported change after you clearly request it, and it may ask for missing details or confirmation before continuing.
Start a conversation
- Select the workspace you want to use.
- Open Agent from the main navigation. On mobile, look in More if Agent is not on your toolbar.
- Type a focused message and select Send message.
- Review the answer, source links, and any tool activity. Select the send control again to stop a response that is still running.
- Ask a follow-up in the same conversation, or select Start a new CareMap chat for a separate topic.
Your chat history is saved for the active workspace. You can return to an earlier chat, pin it, rename it, or delete it. Changing workspaces changes the content and conversation history available to the Agent.
Availability and limits
Agent appears only when your License and active workspace allow it. You can also hide or show Agent with the feature controls in Settings. It uses only sources you are authorized to access and does not reveal another person's private Library content, learner answers, attempts, or progress.
The Agent needs at least one Guide or file in the workspace and may be unavailable while sources are still being prepared. Follow the message shown on the Agent screen and select Check again when offered.
The Agent header shows the workspace's remaining AI credits. If the monthly credits are used up, add credits or wait for the next reset before sending another request.
Treat Agent answers as assistance, not a medical diagnosis. Check cited sources and review every proposed change before relying on it.
