Agent
Use Agent in the Guide editor
Ask Agent to inspect or change the open Guide, including its pages, blocks, settings, and Form mappings.
The Guide editor's Agent can inspect and change the Guide you have open. You need edit access and an authoring-enabled workspace to save changes, plus Agent availability and credits.
Ask for a Guide change
- Create or open the Guide through Library, then enter its editor.
- Finish any open editing dialog and resolve pending saves.
- Select the destination sequence, page, or block. Use Structure on a phone when needed.
- Open Agent from the toolbar, or More → Agent on a compact screen.
- Describe the exact outcome. For review first, say “Describe the changes; do not apply them yet.” Then explicitly request the agreed edits.
- Read the tool results and inspect the updated outline and content.
- Check Warnings and Preview before using the Guide.
For example: “On the current page, add a Text block explaining hand washing, then add a required Completion response.” To add a block without naming a destination, a page must be selected.
What the editor Agent supports
Ask it to inspect the Guide's hierarchy, page or block content, settings, Field methods, and Form mappings. Supported edits include:
- adding, renaming, copying, deleting, ordering, and moving sequences, pages, or blocks within the Guide;
- changing supported block text, appearance, accessibility, speech, media, and playback settings;
- adding, configuring, removing, or ordering Field response methods;
- changing supported Guide, Sequence, and Page settings, start sequence, navigation, and completion behavior; and
- selecting a target Form and configuring compatible Field mappings.
Deleting a sequence or page can remove the content inside it. Ask for a description first when the effect is unclear.
For Form mappings, the Agent can inspect eligible Forms in the chat's folder scope. Changing or clearing the target can remove mappings and may require explicit confirmation. Check compatibility afterward.
Scope and media limits
Editing is tied to the open Guide. Asking this panel to change a different Guide does not move its editing scope. Open the other Guide's editor first. General search is also narrowed to this Guide and its folder; dedicated tools still have their own source rules.
Ordinary Agent can reuse ready media eligible for this Guide. Upload needed media through the editor first. A chat attachment, an arbitrary web address, or an asset from another Guide or folder is not automatically insertable. This editing mode does not upload raw media or generate new images.
Eligible Guides also offer Codex mode, with its own cloud-building workflow. For ordinary edits, review how Agent changes save and editor recovery.
