Agent
Sources the Agent can search
Choose the right source for workspace questions, current documents, saved answers, and CareMap Help.
The Agent has several ways to read information. Choose the source that matches the question; one search does not inspect every record or every page.
Ask for the right evidence
- Select the workspace and search scope.
- Name the exact source and the information you need.
- State whether you need current information or an older Profile Document.
- Ask the Agent to search and identify its supporting sources.
- Open the source links and compare the surrounding content with the answer.
- Ask a narrower follow-up when the answer uses the wrong item or only part of a document.
For example: “Search the current SF Plan of Care for the transport instructions. Name the document and distinguish its instructions from observations in Notes.”
Match the source to the question
| Information | How the Agent can use it |
|---|---|
| Library Guides, templates, Course/Reference projects, supported files and images | Search prepared content within the selected scope. |
| Courses and References in Learn | Broad search can use the selected release you currently have in Learn. This is learning content, not your answers, attempts, or progress. |
| Notes and their current attachments | Broad search can use eligible prepared content; Note text and attached files prepare separately. |
| Profile Documents | Search normally uses the current document. Explicitly ask for history, an older version, or what changed to include retained versions and available comparisons. |
| Files attached to this chat | Ask about the named attachment in the same conversation. These use separate attachment reading. |
| Captured Report answers or events | Supply the exact Report identifier when requested. Guide instructions and search excerpts do not establish what a person actually submitted. |
| How CareMap works | Ask for CareMap Help; it searches public product documentation. |
Structured profile details, schedules, and editor content also have dedicated reading tools. A missing general search result does not prove that such a record is missing.
Understand the limits
General search returns selected excerpts, not a complete audit or full-document export. Relevance, source preparation, access, and the selected scope affect the results. Ask about specific sections and verify important details in the source.
A saved or uploaded item may not yet be ready for search. After an edit, preparation must catch up with the new content. Check the item's processing status rather than repeatedly saving it.
Current Note text is searched as current evidence; older Note revisions are available through Note History, not as a complete historical search collection. Profile Document history is a separate option. Ask the Agent to distinguish authored dates, actual save dates, and statements inside a Note.
