Read and stop Agent responses

Send a message, inspect activity and saved answers, copy Markdown, and stop ongoing work.

A response can include progress messages, tool activity, and a final answer. Review the result and any changed content before relying on the response.

Send and review

  1. Confirm the workspace, chat, and selected scope.
  2. Enter a message of up to 2,000 characters.
  3. Select Send message or press Enter. Use Shift+Enter for a new line.
  4. Watch the response and open relevant activity entries or source links.
  5. Check the final answer and any affected Guide, Form, Note, or schedule.

Only one response can run at a time in a conversation. You can ask a follow-up after it finishes. For a different subject, start a new chat.

You can attach files with the paperclip; up to ten files may be sent with one message. Attachment preparation can happen before the message is accepted. If you send only attachments, CareMap asks the Agent to review them. See chat attachments for formats, reading earlier files, and saving a separate Library copy.

Understand the display

Thinking… means a response is still being prepared. A tool entry can show progress, its result, or error. Select the entry to expand Input and Output; a running entry can say it is waiting for the result.

An activity entry is not a final answer. If it reports a change, check the affected item before asking for the same action again.

Scroll up to review earlier messages. Jump to latest returns to the newest content without changing the conversation.

Completed answers can show AI credits used, duration, and tool count. The separate context counter describes conversation context, not your remaining credit balance. Long conversations may use a summary of earlier messages for later answers; restate a critical detail when needed.

Copy an answer

Use Copy response Markdown beside a completed answer when available. It copies the answer's Markdown text, not a download of the whole conversation. If copying fails, use the offered retry.

An unfinished streaming answer does not have the same completed-answer controls. Do not treat a partial answer as a finished result.

Stop ongoing work

  1. Select Stop CareMap response in place of Send.
  2. Wait while Stopping… is shown.
  3. Review Response stopped and any saved activity.
  4. Check completed changes before deciding whether to continue.

Stop requests cancellation. It does not undo completed actions or guarantee a credit refund. An already running action can have a result even if the final answer never arrives.

Closing the chat, choosing New chat, or opening another conversation does not send the same stop request.

If the send was not yet confirmed, the control may instead lead to Check response status. Follow response recovery before sending again.
