Delete your CareMap account

CareMap provides a verified, self-service deletion process. You can start it from Account Settings while signed in, or contact us if you cannot access your account.

Request account deletion
The request applies to your CareMap account and personal workspace.
  1. Sign in to CareMap and open Settings.
  2. Open the Account section and find Danger Zone.
  3. Select Delete account, review the notice, and submit the request.
  4. Open the one-time confirmation link sent to your account email address.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address associated with your CareMap account. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What happens next

Confirming the request locks the account, revokes active sessions, and begins a seven-day grace period. The confirmation email includes a separate cancellation link that can restore the account during that period. After seven days, deletion is irreversible and cleanup begins.

Deletion removes or de-identifies credentials, sessions, profile information, personal workspace content, schedules, assistant conversations, contacts, Guardian relationships, grants, memberships, and unreferenced assets.

Some organization-owned, shared, legal, billing, security, audit, or historical records may be retained or anonymized when necessary. Provider logs and protected backup copies expire under their applicable retention schedules.

An account that is the only active Manager of an organization cannot be deleted until another active Manager is assigned.

For the complete retention and deletion terms, read the CareMap Privacy Policy.
