Account and Settings

Agent personalization

Save account instructions for ordinary Agent chats and understand how communication preferences take priority.

Save preferences for response style, format, terminology, or useful account context. For example: “Use concise paragraphs and explain unfamiliar terms.”

Save your preference

  1. Open Settings > Account > Agent.
  2. Wait for your saved Agent personalization to load.
  3. Enter up to 2,000 characters and review the remaining count.
  4. Select Save and wait for saving to finish.
  5. Send a new ordinary Agent request to use the saved preference.

Editing the text does not save automatically. Save is unavailable when the text is unchanged or a save is already running. Leading and trailing whitespace is removed when saved.

The setting belongs to the signed-in account and follows it across devices. It applies to later ordinary workspace, Guide editor, and Form editor Agent turns. A turn already in progress keeps the preferences loaded for that turn.

Communication and task boundaries

Communication preferences take priority over ordinary Agent personalization for interpretation and presentation. If the style is unexpected, review both settings.

Personalization can guide how the Agent responds. It cannot grant access, enable tools, expand editor scope, authorize changes, or replace the task and content you requested. Saving “always edit without asking” is not authorization for future changes.

This setting is for ordinary interactive Agent chats. It is not a general instruction field for every AI feature: Report summaries, automatic Note titles, file processing, and other separate generation flows do not use it as their Agent personalization.

Reset the setting

Select Reset to clear the saved preference immediately; a separate Save is not required. Saving an empty or whitespace-only value also clears it.

Reset does not change previous messages, erase chats, or alter a response already in progress. It also does not reset Communication preferences.

If loading or saving fails

Use Try again for a load failure when offered. The form is unavailable until the saved preference can load.

A failed Save or Reset shows an error and keeps the current draft. Preserve important text, reconnect, and retry. Do not assume a failed save took effect on another device or response.
