Agent
Manage Agent conversations
Start, find, pin, rename, and delete your saved CareMap chats within a workspace.
Ordinary CareMap chats belong to your account and a workspace. Other organization members do not receive your chat history simply by sharing that workspace.
Start or return to a chat
- Select the intended workspace and open Agent.
- Use the history sidebar on a wide screen, or Show CareMap chat history on a narrow screen.
- Select a conversation to read it and continue.
- For a new topic, select Start a new CareMap chat in the header, or New chat where offered.
- Check the chat and message scope before sending your next request.
A new chat is saved when you send its first message. Choosing New chat alone does not create a saved empty conversation.
The main Agent remembers your selected chat on that device for the account and workspace. Without a remembered selection, it can open the first chat in history. A remembered New chat selection keeps the blank start.
Unsent text is not a saved message. Preserve drafts before reloading or changing workspaces; do not assume each chat has its own durable draft.
Find older conversations
History initially loads up to 50 conversations, with pinned chats first, then recent chats. There is no Load more control.
Use the app's search while Agent is open to filter the loaded chat names and latest-message previews. It does not search every message in every saved chat. Clear the query if the list looks empty.
A remembered older chat can reopen even when outside the initial list. A missing search result does not prove that a chat was deleted.
Pin or rename
Open the chat row's Actions for menu:
- Pin places it in Pinned. Unpin returns it to Recent.
- Rename opens Conversation name. Enter 1–200 characters, then Save name, or Cancel.
Pinning does not share the conversation or change its workspace. A failed pin is rolled back and shows an error. A failed rename keeps the dialog available for correction or retry.
Delete a chat
Choose Delete from the row menu. This action is immediate; there is no second confirmation in this menu and no user-facing restore control.
Deletion removes the chat from ordinary history and access. It does not undo Notes, schedules, or editor changes already made during the conversation. Conversation attachment access is retired with the chat; copies separately saved to Library are separate content.
An active response prevents deletion. Use Stop CareMap response in that chat and wait for it to stop before trying again.
Starting another chat or leaving Agent does not itself stop server work. See responses and stopping. Cloud Guide Codex mode has its own conversation history.
