Launch scheduled Guides and Forms

Open the intended date with its workspace and About context, and distinguish a new run from a resume.

Use a scheduled item's Launch action when its result should complete that specific date.

Start the intended work

  1. Open Schedule in the owning workspace, or find the dated work on Home.
  2. Check the title, date, time, and About person. In Week or Month, open the calendar entry's details first.
  3. Select Launch. A completed item with an accessible linked Report can label this action Replay.
  4. Wait for the Guide player or Form to open and check its About context again.
  5. Complete and save the work, then return to Schedule to check its state.

The launch follows the source workspace. It carries the selected occurrence and its current start time into the run. A moved recurring date still identifies that original occurrence.

New run, resume, or review

Launch and Replay start new work; they are not a way to inspect an old Report. Use View report for the result already attached to the date.

To continue an active Guide session, use its explicit saved-session or Home history entry. Opening the schedule again can start another run. See starting and resuming.

Opening the same Guide or Form directly from Library does not carry this schedule's completion context. One result does not automatically complete every schedule using that content.

Launch after quick scheduling

After Guide > Schedule guide, choose View schedule, then Launch from the created calendar item. The confirmation's Launch guide shortcut currently lacks the full occurrence link for automatic completion. A Report can save without marking that calendar item Done. See Guide schedules and assignments.

Check the subject and access

You need current access and permission to use the content. An archived Guide must be restored before a new launch. Archived or unavailable Forms cannot start a new fill; existing Reports remain separate records.

For a scheduled Guide, a subject who is archived or no longer available for reporting blocks the run. Return to Schedule and resolve the subject's access. That blocked launch cannot be converted to About Me as a workaround.

A scheduled Form can instead open About you with the warning The scheduled About permission is no longer available. This Form will be recorded About you. If that is not the intended subject, resolve access before answering or submitting.

Changing About during an allowed run changes the result's subject. A result About someone else will not complete the originally scheduled person's date. See completion matching.

If the launch is stale

If the source, subject, or schedule changed, return to the current Schedule row and reopen it. Do not keep using an old notification or saved launch link. For interrupted work, preserve its saved answers and follow completion recovery.
