Schedule completion

Complete scheduled work, distinguish Reports from manual Done, and check the resulting occurrence.

A Schedule occurrence becomes Done when a matching completed result is recorded, or when an authorized editor manually marks a recurring date done.

Complete scheduled work

  1. Find the intended date in the owning workspace's Schedule.
  2. Open its details, check the content and About person, and select Launch.
  3. Complete the Guide through its finishing or Report-capture workflow, or select Submit Form after filling the Form.
  4. Wait for the result to be saved or synchronized.
  5. Return to Schedule and check Done and, when available, View report.

Launch alone does not complete the occurrence. Schedule state is not a live progress meter: opening or answering work need not change Queued to In progress.

A saved Report does not always change the schedule. The subject, content, occurrence, and current start time must match. A moved or skipped occurrence is preserved. See completion matching.

Leaving a Guide early can save a partial Report while leaving the occurrence active. Form Preview and Guide Preview do not complete scheduled work. Ack and Snooze only manage reminders.

Mark a recurring date done manually

With permission to edit the active source:

  1. Open the recurring occurrence.
  2. Select Done, or Actions > Mark occurrence done.
  3. Wait for the save and check Done and Marked done.

Manual Done creates no new Report and does not run the content. It changes that occurrence's completion state; other dates are not marked Done. Reminder recalculation can still affect other upcoming dates' Ack/Snooze choices.

On a rescheduled occurrence, manual Done currently removes its moved time and reminder override and replaces its reason. The Done item can return to the original series date. Report-based completion preserves the moved details.

These manual controls are available for editable recurring occurrences. One-time schedules and assignment due rows do not expose them.

Clear a completion exception

When available, Clear or Clear exception removes the occurrence's whole exception, including its completion state and any moved time or reminder override. The date returns to its original series behavior.

Clearing does not delete the submitted Report. The direct link from that occurrence can disappear while the Report remains in Reports. See occurrence exceptions.

An assignment due row follows assignment completion rather than these manual controls. Use the assignment's Launch action; see assignments.

If Done or its Report link is unexpected, use completion recovery before replaying or changing the schedule.
