Create and edit License Packages
Define reusable License defaults, choose grants, and confirm revisions.
A Package defines reusable capabilities and starting terms for Licenses. Global CareMap administrators manage Packages in Admin > Access > Licensing.
Create a Package
- Select New Package.
- On Properties, enter Name and an optional Description.
- Set Default USD amount and Billing cadence.
- Choose Default expiration: Never or Duration. For Duration, enter Duration in days.
- On Grants, select capabilities and quantities.
- Select Create Package and confirm that it appears in the list.
Names are required and allow up to 120 characters; descriptions allow 2,000. Amounts must be nonnegative USD with at most two decimal places. Duration must be a whole number from 1 to 36,500 days. Billing cadence and expiration are separate choices.
Creating a Package does not assign it to anyone. Use Add Package on a recipient, configure organization role Licenses, or choose the global Base Package as appropriate.
Revise an existing Package
- Open its row in Licensing. Active Packages open for editing.
- Review the saved state and current grants on Overview.
- Change Properties or Grants.
- Select Review impact.
- Check affected account and organization counts, grant changes, and warnings.
- Select Confirm revision, or Back to revise the draft.
The first save action previews the impact; confirmation creates the revision. Even a defaults-only edit creates a revision. No grant changes means the capabilities are unchanged, not that your default-term edits were discarded.
Package grants affect active holders through the current revision. Default amount, cadence, and expiration initialize future License forms; they do not rewrite existing assignment terms. Use Correct terms for one existing License.
Review and recover
The list shows Package status, holder count, annual revenue projection, default charge, and grant count. Overview also shows revision, separate account/organization counts, successor, dates, and current grants. These are saved values; review your draft on Properties and Grants.
Retiring and archived Packages open read-only. Create another Package if you need a new editable definition.
Cancel closes unsaved Package edits. Storefront listings have their own save action; save Package changes before working there.
For validation errors, correct the indicated field and review impact again. If saving or reloading fails, close the editor and Refresh the list before repeating creation or revision. Inspect the current name, revision, and grants to establish whether the earlier save succeeded.
