Correct License terms
Change the amount, billing cadence, or expiration of an active direct License.
Use Correct terms to change an active License's amount, billing cadence, or expiration without replacing its Package or creating another assignment. This requires a global CareMap administrator.
Correct an assignment
- Open Admin > Access > Users > the user > License, or Admin > Access > Organizations > the organization > Access > Licenses.
- Find the active Package row and select Correct terms.
- Review USD amount and Billing cadence, choosing Monthly or Yearly as needed.
- Review Never expires and Expires. Choose no expiration or a future date and time.
- Select Correct License terms.
- Confirm the updated amount, cadence, and expiration in the active row.
Enter a nonnegative USD amount with at most two decimal places. The date and time control uses your device's local time. Review every field before saving, including expiration when the existing License has no end date.
The Package choice and grant preview are read-only during correction. Changing one assignment's terms does not edit the Package's grants or defaults for other recipients. Conversely, editing Package defaults does not rewrite this License's existing terms.
The cadence records the License's commercial terms; it does not select an expiration date for you. Review Expires separately. For aggregate recurring value, use Admin Billing.
When correction is unavailable
Only active assignments can be corrected. An expired or revoked License stays in Past Licenses; reissue it if eligible.
Base Licenses follow the global Base Package configuration. Rows marked Managed by organization role follow the supplying organization's Staff or Client configuration. Those rows do not offer Correct terms or Revoke.
If the wrong Package was assigned, correction cannot switch it. Review whether to revoke that assignment and add the intended Package.
Recover from an error
A License may expire or be revoked while its dialog is open. Close the dialog, select Refresh, and check its current status before choosing another action. If a save reports an error after submission, verify the row first; a failed refresh does not prove that the change was rejected.
Correcting terms does not itself grant a fresh AI-credit allocation. Review current Usage separately when investigating a balance.
