Read aggregate results

Explore saved fields, choice distributions, number statistics, and the tables behind aggregate charts.

Open a completed Aggregate Report to review the answers captured for its saved source, people, and dates. You must be its creator; see aggregate access.

Explore a field

  1. Open Reports > Aggregates and select your aggregate.
  2. In Summary, check Generated, Reports, People, Fields, and Recorded answers before comparing results.
  3. Select Results. Find the field by its section and label, using First page, Previous, or Next when needed.
  4. Select Explore field. Review the response and missing counts, any AI summary, and the available chart and table.
  5. For choice fields, browse Answer options to see additional choices.
  6. Select Browse source responses to inspect the contributing answers.
  7. Use Close field or explore another field.

Fields and answer options load in pages of up to 25. Only one field is expanded at a time; changing the field page closes it. Long headings can be shortened in the directory and expanded when the field opens.

Match the display to the answer type

Answer typeAvailable results
Single choice and Yes/NoCounts and percentages; a pie when the whole distribution fits the displayed page, otherwise percentage bars.
Multiple choiceCounts, percentages, and bars for the displayed choices.
Number, Slider, and numeric Scale answersAverage, median, minimum, maximum, and a histogram with a Range/Count table.
Other answers, including text, dates, and mediaSaved source responses; a statistical chart is not available for every type.

Statistics describe the whole captured field population, not just the visible response page. A page of choices does not recalculate percentages to total 100%. See counting rules.

Numeric averages include each usable recorded numeric answer. The median is the middle value, or the mean of the two middle values. Repeated answers can give one Report more weight. Histogram ranges use up to ten groups; a boundary belongs to the following group except for the final maximum. Displayed numbers and range labels are rounded.

Check an unexpected result

Use the table below a chart for the corresponding displayed values. Supported charts also offer arrow-key inspection. For exact original values or missing context, open a source Report.

No answer fields were captured means this snapshot has no captured fields, not that loading failed or every field was answered. A field with no captured answers anywhere may be absent altogether.

Retry loading this section reloads saved data. If the saved result changed, use Retry loading to reload the current snapshot. To rebuild from source Reports, follow Refresh.
