Refresh, stop, and manage aggregate generation
Check source changes, generate replacements, stop work, retry failures, and rename or delete private snapshots.
An aggregate keeps its last completed snapshot while a new generation runs. Progress and displayed results can therefore describe different runs.
Check and refresh a snapshot
- Open the aggregate from Reports > Aggregates.
- In Summary, check Generated, the date range, counts, and AI status.
- Select Check source changes. Source changes not checked is not a promise that the snapshot is current.
- If appropriate, select Refresh to build a replacement using the saved criteria and currently available source Reports.
- Wait for generation to finish, then check the new Generated time and counts.
The source check detects additional matching Reports and captured Reports that were voided. For organization-client selection, it also compares group membership. It is not a full comparison of every saved answer or permission. No source changes found at the last check describes that check only.
Refresh reuses the saved date window. It reevaluates organization client selection. It cannot change the source, individual selection, Match, timezone, or AI choice.
Follow progress or retry
Stages can include Waiting for the reporting worker, Collecting answers, Calculating results, Summarizing answers, and Writing aggregate summary. Generation continues in the background when you close the view.
Ready describes the calculated snapshot; the separate AI status can still show partial, failed, skipped, or unrequested AI. If generation fails, read the message and use Retry generation when offered. Retry or Refresh starts a new generation, with current capture and possible AI costs. Follow AI credits and recovery for AI-specific failures.
Refresh list, Retry loading, and Retry loading this section only reload saved information. They do not generate a replacement. Reopen or retry loading if updates stop arriving; a loading failure does not prove generation failed.
Stop generation
Select Stop generation while a run is queued or processing. There is no additional confirmation. Generation cancelled confirms the stop.
The previous completed snapshot remains available. If the initial generation was stopped, there is no completed snapshot to review. Use Retry or Refresh to start another run; stopping is not a pause/resume control.
AI requests already started may still incur charges. If the run finished before the stop reached it, reload to see the final state.
Rename or delete
Use Rename, enter a nonblank name up to 255 characters, then Save. Only the display name changes.
Use Delete, review Delete aggregate?, then confirm Delete aggregate. This removes the private aggregate and its generated snapshot data, not its Guide, Form, or source Reports. There is no aggregate restore control.
Missing actions can reflect License or workspace access.
