People overview

Find people and open the profiles available through your CareMap access.

People has three tabs: Contacts, Clients, and Invitations. Contacts opens first. Your own account profile is available from your account identity in the sidebar or mobile More menu.

Find a contact

  1. Open People > Contacts.
  2. Use Search people in the top bar; on mobile, open the search control.
  3. Search by name, email, or contact state, then select a row.

Contacts are active connections between CareMap accounts. Rows show the name, email, image, and any contact designations. Edit designations, when available, changes the roles recorded in your own profile; it does not change the contact's permissions.

Clear the search to restore the list. Use Invite contact to start a new connection; see Invite and manage contacts.

Find a Client

  1. Select Clients.
  2. Use Search people to match a name, profile detail, or visible relationship context such as a care-team or organization name.
  3. Optionally enter a complete status, such as Active or Archived, under Filter by exact status. Matching ignores capitalization; blank means any status.
  4. Use Next people or Previous people to move through results.
  5. Select a row to load the full Person profile. Refresh people reloads from the first page.

The page count describes the current page, not every Client. Changing search or status starts again at page one. Rows show a short detail and the relationships that explain access; opening the profile shows the full detail. Keyboard users can move between result rows with the arrow keys, Home, and End.

This directory can include your own Person profile, Clients of active care teams, people covered by Guardian access, and people available through organization Staff access. Administrators have broader visibility. Ordinary contacts and their individual permissions do not by themselves add someone to the Clients directory.

Archived profiles can still appear when your access allows it. Finding a profile does not mean it is eligible for every active care workflow. This directory is also broader than an organization's assigned-Client roster; use Organization Clients to manage those assignments.

CareMap administrators can edit, archive, or restore a Client. For goals, tasks, supporting files, and observations, open the profile's Care records tab.

Review invitations

Invitations shows pending incoming contact and care-team invitations, plus outgoing contact invitations. Review the sender, team/role when relevant, and expiry before choosing Accept or Decline. The sender can Cancel a pending contact invitation.

Accept all applies only to incoming contact invitations. Its result reports accepted, skipped, and failed counts; care-team requests need individual decisions. Organization and folder invitations are also available through the Home invitation inbox.

If someone is missing

Clear both the search and exact-status filter, check the selected account, and refresh. Check Invitations for an unaccepted contact request. For Clients, review the active care-team, Guardian, or organization relationship that grants access. A saved link does not preserve revoked access.

A failed Client list load offers Refresh people. A failed profile load offers Retry client; an unavailable profile may require renewed access. Invitation errors offer Try again. Protected documents, Notes, and care records have their own permission and consent checks even when a profile opens.
