Certificates on profiles
Review your own or an active contact's Course certificates and understand the separate visibility rules.
Account profiles can show Course certificates. This collection is separate from profile document uploads and from a Client's care records.
Open profile certificates
- Open your account identity from the desktop sidebar or mobile More, or open an active contact under People > Contacts.
- Select Certificates when it appears.
- Review Valid certificates and Expired or invalid certificates.
- Select a Course row to open its details.
- Use Certificate version to choose another completion when available.
- Select Validate Certificate for its current status or Export PDF for a portable copy.
Rows show Course, publisher, version, issue date, expiration, and status. The detail can initially select a newer record than the valid representative shown in the row; check the selected version and status.
The tab appears only when the account has certificates available to you. The separate Person / Client care-profile view does not have a Certificates tab.
View your own records
Your own collection includes valid, expired, and voided certificates. Losing content-use access does not hide certificates already issued to your account.
Use Search certificates to find a course, publisher, serial, version, or status. Search includes history; open the row and choose the matching record. See Find certificates and their history.
Certificate actions offers validation and, when valid records exist, Export all valid. Only your own certificate details offer Void certificate.
View a contact's records
Ordinary viewing requires an active contact relationship with the certificate owner. Each visible certificate must also belong to a Catalog listing whose audience includes you, for example:
- an approved public listing;
- a listing you publish, or one published by an organization where you are an Owner, Manager, or Staff member;
- a private listing shared with your account or with an organization where you are an Owner, Manager, or Staff member.
Organization Client assignment alone does not meet those organization audience rules. A personal License does not create a contact relationship or Catalog audience membership.
These certificate checks are separate from the contact's Profile details, Profile Documents, Notes, and Report permissions. There is no certificate sharing toggle in that Permissions dialog.
Contacts can see available valid and expired records, but voided records are excluded. They can export the visible valid collection; the export is not limited to a single Course row. They cannot void your certificates.
Resolve a missing tab or record
Confirm the account, active contact relationship, and Catalog audience. A failed load can also hide the tab; reopen the profile after checking the connection. No visible certificates does not prove the person never completed a Course.
If the owner provides a full serial, use certificate validation in Learn. That separate workflow can check records outside ordinary profile access.
