Export certificate PDFs
Save one certificate or all available valid certificates, and understand export scope and device save controls.
Save a PDF when you need a portable copy of a Course certificate. You must be signed in and able to view the record or validate its full serial.
Export one certificate
- Open Learn > Certifications or a profile's Certificates tab.
- Select the Course card or row.
- Use Certificate version if needed and check the issue date and status.
- Select Export PDF.
- Wait for Preparing PDF…, then finish the browser download, desktop Save dialog, or mobile save/share sheet.
- Open the saved file and confirm that it contains the intended certificate.
An individual export can include a valid, expired, or voided certificate when you are allowed to view it. A PDF does not make an invalid certificate valid. For someone else's profile, normal viewing excludes voided records.
If you started from a serial check, use Export verified certificate in the validation result. That action checks the serial again before creating the PDF.
Export all valid certificates
- Open the intended account's certificate collection.
- In Learn, select Export all valid beside the Certificates heading. On a profile, open Certificate actions and select Export all valid.
- Wait for PDF preparation and complete the device save controls.
- Review the resulting file before sharing it.
The bundle contains every currently valid certificate available to you in that account's collection, with one certificate per page. It can include several valid completions of the same Course, including historical records.
It is not limited to the displayed group representative or your search results. To export only one record, use its individual Export PDF action. Expired and voided certificates are excluded. The action is absent when no valid records are available.
Understand the file
The PDF includes the learner, Course, publisher, version, issue date, expiration or Never expires, status, serial, and a verification QR code. Long Course titles wrap; a long void reason can be shortened in the PDF.
PDF dates use UTC; dates displayed in the app use your device's locale and time zone, so a date near midnight can differ.
The PDF records the status at export time. Its text cannot update after expiration or voiding. Scan the QR code with your device's camera or enter the serial in CareMap to check the current status.
Recover an export problem
Wait while preparation is pending. Canceling a Save or share dialog leaves the certificate unchanged; export again when ready.
Check browser downloads or your chosen destination before retrying a missing file. If preparation fails, reopen the collection and retry after checking your connection and access. A bundle can become unavailable if its last valid certificate expires or is voided.
Certificate history explains how to select an older completion.
