Find certificates and their history

Find issued Course certificates, select the right completion record, and search your profile's certificate history.

Certificates belong to your account and are grouped by their Catalog Course. Repeating a Course can create several certificates, including multiple completions of the same version.

Open a completion record

  1. Open Learn > Certifications, or open your own account profile and select Certificates.
  2. Find the Course card or table row and select it.
  3. If Certificate version appears, choose the completion you need.
  4. Check the version, issue date, status, and serial before taking an action.
  5. Use Validate Certificate for its current status or Export PDF for that selected record.
  6. Use Close certificate to return to the collection.

Your profile opens from your account identity in the desktop sidebar or mobile More. Certificates and Certifications appear when certificates are available. If Learn is paused because you lost content-use access, your existing certificates remain available.

Understand the grouping

A card or row prefers the most recently issued valid certificate. If none is valid, it prefers the latest expired certificate, then a voided one. The older count indicates additional certificates in that Course group.

Opening the group selects its newest issued record. This can differ from the valid certificate represented by the card, such as when a newer certificate was voided. Always check the opened record's status.

The version picker lists available records newest first, with version number, optional label, issue date, and status. It appears only when more than one certificate is available. Choosing a record does not change your Learn version or start recertification.

In Learn, groups appear under Valid, Expired · recertification available, or Voided. Your profile uses Valid certificates and Expired or invalid certificates. Historical records can have a different status from their group's representative certificate.

Search from your own profile

Use Search certificates while your own profile's Certificates tab is open. Search matches a course, publisher, serial, version number or label, or status. Enter one phrase contained in one of those values.

A match in any historical certificate keeps its Course row visible. Opening that row still selects the newest record; use Certificate version to find the matching historical entry.

The current Learn Certifications view and contact-profile certificate view do not apply this profile search. Use your own profile when you need to filter your certificates. Clear the search if no rows match.

Resolve missing records

Reopen the collection after completion or a recent change. A loading failure can hide a tab or show an error; it does not prove that certificates were deleted.

Recertification keeps earlier certificates. Learn removal and version replacement also preserve issued certificates. Permanent Catalog or account deletion is different.
