Library overview

Use Library to organize Guides, Forms, Courses, files, templates, and folders.

Library is the CareMap destination for organizing guide folders and flows. Use it to find, create, upload, share, and manage the care content you can access.

What Library contains

Library content is arranged in folders. Depending on your workspace and access, folders can contain Guides, Courses and References, Forms, templates, uploaded files, and other folders.

The source shown at the top of Library controls which set of folders you are browsing, such as your personal Library, an organization Library, or a shared Library. If more than one source is available, use Library sources to switch between them.

Common Library tasks

  • Open a folder to browse its child folders and content.
  • Use Create to add a New Folder, New Guide, New Form, or New Course or Reference when those actions are available.
  • Use Upload Files or drag files into a writable folder to add documents or assets.
  • Use item action menus to open, rename, move, favorite, publish, share, or delete content when your role allows it.
  • Use Search Library to find accessible folders and content by name.
  • Use View Options to switch display mode or show and hide content types.

Access and availability

Library only shows folders and items you are allowed to access. Some actions may be hidden in read-only folders, folders that were shared with limited access, or workspaces where the related feature is not enabled.

Uploaded files and imported content may also need processing time before every action is available. If something was just created, uploaded, moved, restored, or shared with you, refresh Library or check the current folder and source again.

If content is missing

If you cannot find expected Library content:

  1. Confirm you are in the correct Library source.
  2. Clear or simplify the Search Library text.
  3. Open View Options and reset hidden content type filters.
  4. Check whether the item is inside a different folder.
  5. Ask a folder owner or someone with sharing permission to confirm your access.
