Getting Started
Use Home: For you, favorites, and recent work
Understand Home’s account-wide invitations and assignments, workspace sections, and activity shortcuts.
Home is a summary of available work. Open full destinations such as Library, People, Schedule, and Reports when you need more than the Home preview. Use Customize to show, hide, and arrange its sections.
For you: invitations and assignments
For you groups Invitations and Assigned guides. These stay with your account across workspaces; they are not restricted to the organization currently selected. Each list displays up to five entries.
Invitations are pending, unexpired requests, ordered by expiry. Use Accept for a contact or care-team invitation. An organization invitation uses View invitation so you can review it separately. Accept all applies to eligible contact and care-team invitations, including ones beyond the five displayed; it excludes organization invitations. Partial failures show accepted/failed counts and a failure message. See Receive invitations.
Assigned Guides show the person, due time or No due date, status, and notes or assigner. Dated assignments come first. Use Launch for the assigned context; archived assignments cannot launch. Opening assigned work can take you to the content’s workspace when it is available.
Workspace sections
- Favorites: Folders and active favorite content, sorted by name. Four appear initially; View all favorites expands the available list and Show fewer collapses it. Personal Home can include accessible shared Library favorites.
- Upcoming: Up to five items not marked Done from the loaded schedule range, ordered by start time. Rows identify the person, content, time zone, recurrence or assignment due status. Use Launch or Open schedule. Archived or unavailable content cannot launch. Ack, Snooze, and offline actions appear when applicable; see Reminders.
- Continue editing: Up to five recent Guides for which editing is still available. Continue opens the editor. This is separate from resuming a learner’s activity. Narrow screens use compact rows.
These sections depend on the selected workspace and current access. Home is not an exhaustive schedule or Library listing; use the section’s destination link to investigate missing items.
History
History groups recent Guide plays and Reports by local day, newest first. Statuses can include In progress, Submitted, Stopped, and Completed. When a matching submitted Report is present, it replaces the duplicate play entry in the history display.
Select a Report to read it. Selecting an In progress play without a Report resumes that session. Selecting an ended play without a Report opens the Guide for another run; it does not restore the ended session. A play that has a Report opens the Report. History is a recent summary, not a complete audit trail.
Empty or missing sections
Welcome to Home appears when no matching content is available and schedule loading has no error. Its shortcut uses View Library, Browse Catalog, or View Settings, depending on available destinations.
Hidden or empty sections do not render. Hiding all populated sections can leave Home blank without the welcome card. Check Home view settings and the workspace. If Upcoming is absent after a loading problem, open Schedule to review it directly.
