Aggregate AI credits and recovery
Check source-workspace funding, distinguish partial and failed AI, and decide when to Refresh or contact support.
Aggregate AI is funded by the recorded source workspace: the personal workspace that owns the source, or its organization. Switching your viewing workspace does not move the charge to another balance.
Check funding and status
- Before creation, review Use AI summaries, estimated use, and the source workspace's funding message.
- Check the applicable balance in Usage, or ask that workspace's owner to review it.
- After generation, open Summary and read AI, AI credits used, and any failure explanation.
- Follow the recovery appropriate to that message before starting another run.
AI also requires the source workspace's applicable License grant. The preview marks funding available at 500 spendable credits in an active eligible wallet; that is a starting check, not a guarantee that all summaries can be funded.
The displayed estimate is approximate. Actual charges depend on generated work and measured use. Credits can be reserved while requests are unfinished. An unchanged answer summary may be reused for the same creator without a new answer-summary charge; other summaries in the new run can still cost credits. Refresh is not guaranteed to be free.
Interpret the outcome
| AI state | What to do |
|---|---|
| Not requested | Calculated results were requested without AI. Create another aggregate to enable AI. |
| In progress | Wait for generation; an earlier completed snapshot can remain visible. |
| Complete | Review the available text against source evidence. |
| Partial | Some summaries were unavailable; review saved summaries and calculated results. |
| Failed | Read the specific explanation. Calculated results can still be available. |
| Skipped · insufficient credits | Ask the source workspace owner to add credits, then consider Refresh. |
Ready is the aggregate's generation state, not a promise of complete AI. When a replacement is running, messages marked Previous snapshot describe the retained earlier results.
Choose the right recovery
For temporary rate limits, server errors, or timeouts, use Refresh later when appropriate. For generation unavailability, credit-accounting preparation failure, a rejected request, or an unknown provider outcome, follow the instruction to contact support before retrying.
An unknown outcome means a request may have completed without its result being saved. CareMap does not automatically send that uncertain operation again; charges can still apply.
Refresh starts a new run with the saved criteria and possible new costs. It is not a retry of only the missing summary. Retry loading and Retry loading this section only read existing data.
Adding credits does not resume an already completed partial run automatically. Stopping generation or deleting an aggregate does not undo AI requests already started. See generation management.
