Notes and Schedule
Assignment status and activity
Interpret Pending, Due soon, Overdue, Completed, Archived, and the recent activity shown in People.
Assignment status summarizes the assignment and the completion evidence CareMap found. It is separate from a scheduled occurrence's Done state.
Check status against the work
- Find the assignment on Home or the person's profile in People.
- Read its status, due date, notes, and any recent activity.
- For Completed work, open Reports and check the intended Guide and person.
- Inspect the saved answers and whether the Guide run actually finished.
- If the badge disagrees with the result or another list, follow assignment recovery.
Status meanings
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | No due date, or the due time is more than 24 hours away. |
| Due soon | The due time is within the next 24 hours, including the due instant. |
| Overdue | The due time has passed and no completion was found in that view. |
| Completed | CareMap found a linked active Report or a completed assignment session. |
| Archived | The assignment is inactive; Launch is disabled if the row remains visible. |
Due soon is an elapsed 24-hour window, not “tomorrow.” Home and People format due dates in the device's local timezone.
Archived takes priority over completion. Completed takes priority over the due date, so finished work does not become Overdue just because its due time passes.
Completed is a summary, not proof of every answer
A linked Report can count even when the Guide was left early. The assignment badge also does not verify that the Report's current About person still matches the original assignment.
Check the Report itself before relying on completion. A completed session can keep the assignment Completed even after its Report is voided. Voiding a Report is not an assignment reset.
Completed assignments remain launchable in Assigned guides, but their dated rows disappear from active Schedule and Upcoming results. Home and People use recent completion previews, so older evidence can produce a different status there; see recovery.
Recent activity in People
When the profile includes Assigned guides, each row shows up to three recent activity entries. These can describe assignment creation, the latest update, completion, or archiving.
This is a summary of the current record, not a full change history. Updated does not show every earlier note or due date, and Completed does not list every run. The profile timeline has no expandable history or direct Report-opening action; use Reports for the saved evidence.
Ack and Snooze manage an associated reminder. They do not complete the assignment or change its due date.
