Block appearance, alignment, and text size

Choose Card style and color, position a block, and set Text size, Text color, and alignment.

Block appearance controls one block within a Guide page. Open the block's Edit action in an editable Guide. Changes described here are saved with Save block.

Page layout and background are separate controls in Page settings.

Set the card surface

Open Card and choose Card color. Default follows the player's saved Guide Card color. An explicit named color takes priority over that personal default. Colors remain theme-aware rather than fixed paint colors.

Party requires its unlock. An existing Party choice can appear disabled when it is locked. Choose another available color if you want to replace it.

Choose Card style:

StyleEffect
NoneNo additional card treatment from this control
OutlineAdds a border around the block
SoftAdds a subtle surface and border
EmphasizedAdds a stronger surface, border, and shadow

The page layout, Guide surface settings, and player's preferences can also affect the final appearance. None does not promise that every surrounding surface disappears. Check the Card preview, then the actual Guide page.

Position the block

Block alignment offers Fill available width, Start, Center, and End. Fill uses the available layout space. The other choices position a narrower block within that space; narrow screens may leave little visible difference.

This positions the whole block. It does not change the alignment of its sentences or reorder the page's blocks.

Align and color text

The rich-text toolbar's Text alignment offers Default, Left, Center, and Right. Default follows the player's saved Guide Text alignment; an explicit alignment overrides that default. A previously authored Justified value can also appear when editing it.

This is a shared setting for the block's main prose, not a per-paragraph alignment control. On a Flashcard, changing it in either Question text or Answer text affects both sides.

Where the content panel offers Text color, Default follows the player's saved Guide text color. Choosing another named color sets an explicit theme-aware color. Text color and Card color affect different parts of the block. The Flashcard content panel does not offer its own Text color picker.

Size a Text block

Text blocks offer Text size: Small, Body, Large, or Heading. Body is the initial choice. These sizes still respond to the player's accessibility text scaling.

Heading size changes visual presentation. Use a heading from the rich-text Block type menu when the content needs an actual heading in its structure. A heading within the text has its own formatting.

Check readability

Save, then Preview with narrow and wide layouts and the player experience you intend to support. Test essential text with larger accessibility text and the themes your audience uses.

If an explicit choice is not producing the expected result, distinguish the page background, card surface, block position, and text controls first. A Default choice intentionally follows a player's preference. Use words and structure as well as color to communicate meaning.
