Getting Started
Welcome to CareMap
CareMap brings guides, learning, schedules, records, and shared support into one accessible place.
CareMap is a care-guide workspace for creating and using accessible content, coordinating work, recording answers, and supporting people with others who have permission to help.
What you can do
The destinations available to you can include:
- Home for current work, favorites, invitations, and recent activity;
- Library for folders, Guides, Forms, Courses, files, and templates;
- Learn and Schedule for assigned learning and planned Guide work;
- People for contacts, care teams, profiles, and permitted care records;
- Reports for results from completed Guides and Forms; and
- Notes, Catalog, Agent, organization tools, or Admin when your account and workspace provide them.
A Guide presents a sequence of pages and blocks. It can share instructions, collect answers, and produce a Report after a normal completed run. Authors can build and preview Guides in Library; other people may only see actions such as Play when they have viewing access.
Begin in the right workspace
- Sign in and check the workspace name shown at the top of CareMap.
- Open Home to review the work and updates available in that workspace.
- Open Library to browse its folders and content, or choose another destination for the task you need to complete.
- On a compact screen, select More to find destinations that are not on the bottom toolbar, change workspaces, open Settings, or select Help.
Your personal workspace and each organization workspace keep their own content and access context. Switching workspaces does not move or copy content. Shared Library content can also appear inside your personal workspace without giving you access to the owner's entire workspace.
Understand access and availability
CareMap shows only the content and actions your permissions allow. Available destinations can also depend on the active workspace, your organization role, Licenses, and enabled features. A Read-only state means you can view permitted content but some creation or editing actions are unavailable.
CareMap uses the same account and workspace content on web, desktop, and mobile. Navigation changes to fit the screen, and some actions depend on device capabilities or permissions. Most work needs a connection; supported Guides must be prepared on a device before they can be used offline.
If something is missing, first confirm the active workspace and Library source, then check whether your access is read-only. Ask the relevant owner or manager to review your access when an expected workspace, item, or action remains unavailable. Select Help to open this Knowledge Base in your browser.
