Enrollment and progress

Learn holds the Courses and References added to your account. Your account needs a License allowing content use; Library edit access or an organization Catalog audience alone does not provide that permission.

Add and open learning content

1. Open Catalog > Courses or References. Browse Courses on an empty Learn view also opens Catalog.
2. Open an accessible active listing and select Add Course or Add Reference.
3. After success, use Open in Learn, or return to Learn.
4. Select Start, Continue, Open, or Review on the relevant card.

The Catalog action adds the current approved version directly, without a version picker. There is one Learn item per listing for your account. Use Open in Learn to resume without accepting an update.

Courses shows active Courses. References and Completed appear when they contain items; Certifications appears when certificates exist. Search filters the current learning tab by title, description, or publisher.

Complete a Course

1. Open the current lesson and read or play its content.
2. Pass its Quiz if one is present.
3. Select Complete Lesson.
4. Continue through the unlocked lessons in order.
5. After the last lesson, pass the final exam if one is configured.

Opening a lesson records that it was opened, not completed. The card can still say Start until a lesson is completed.

Locked outline entries identify the earlier unfinished lesson. A successful completion normally opens the next lesson, or the final exam after the last. If that next opening fails, the completion may already be saved; select the unlocked destination again.

CareMap does not require watching every video, playing audio, or opening supplemental Catalog resources before Complete Lesson.

Interpret progress and resume

The percentage counts completed lessons. It can reach 100% while Final exam not passed yet remains. Course completion requires that final pass.

Learn resumes the saved available lesson or unlocked final exam; otherwise it opens the first available lesson. Unsubmitted assessment choices are separate from saved progress. See assessment feedback.

A completed Course moves to Completed for read-only review and issues a certificate. Recertify starts it again. References save chapter position without completion or certificates.

Recover missing or unavailable content

Clear search and check the tab and account first. Catalog access changes do not automatically erase an existing enrollment; try opening it directly in Learn.

Use Retry Learn for a collection load failure or Try again for an item load failure. A failed refresh can leave previously loaded cards visible; an access failure can hide them until access is verified.

Learn requires content access or This Learn item is paused means account content use must be restored. The selected version and progress remain stored; existing certificates can still be viewed and validated.

For deliberate resets, read version changes or removal before acting.
