Take a Course quiz or final exam
Submit answers, interpret saved feedback, retry an assessment, and distinguish quiz passes from Course completion.
A Course can require a lesson Knowledge check or a Final exam. Your account needs content-use access, and the Course must already be in Learn.
Submit an assessment
- Open the Course from Learn.
- Open the lesson containing the Quiz. Complete earlier lessons first. For the final exam, complete every lesson and select its outline entry.
- Choose one answer for every question.
- Select Submit answers and wait while Grading… appears.
- Read Last submitted result, the score, attempt number, and feedback.
The score is the percentage of questions answered correctly, with equal weight per question. It must meet or exceed the displayed passing requirement. For example, two correct answers out of three score 66.667%, below a 67% passing requirement.
Feedback labels each question Correct or Review this answer and shows an explanation when the author supplied one. It does not automatically identify the correct choice or refill your previous selections.
Retry while keeping results clear
Retakes are unlimited while the Course is active. Choose answers and submit again; after a passing result, the action is labeled Retake.
Changing an answer hides the old per-question feedback and shows that the new answers have not been graded. The score panel still describes the last submitted attempt. Editing alone does not replace that result.
After leaving and reopening, the latest submitted result remains available. Unsubmitted choices are not a saved attempt and can be lost on navigation or reload. Choose every answer again before a new submission. Retake can be disabled after reopening even when the saved result says Passed because the new answer choices are still empty.
Finish the lesson or Course
Passing a lesson Quiz unlocks Complete Lesson. Select that action to record lesson completion and continue. Passing a Quiz alone does not complete the lesson or issue a certificate.
Any passing attempt in the current learning run satisfies that lesson's Quiz requirement. A later failed retry does not undo the earlier pass.
The final exam becomes available only after every lesson is complete. Passing it completes the Course and issues a certificate. Without a final exam, completing the last lesson finishes the Course.
Completed Courses show assessments and saved feedback for review, with no answer-submission controls. Use Recertify for a new attempt at the whole Course.
Recover a problem
If Submit answers is disabled, answer every question and wait for any current submission. If the final exam is locked, follow the named unfinished lesson in the outline.
If a request fails or its outcome is uncertain, reopen the Course and inspect the latest submitted result before submitting again. Reopening does not itself create another attempt. For a paused item, restore your account's content access; saved progress remains stored.
