Catalog

Browse and search the Catalog

Find accessible Catalog publications by browsing or searching.

Use Catalog to find content that publishers have made available to you. Results can include approved public publications and private publications you are allowed to access.

Browse Catalog sections

Open Catalog from workspace navigation. The available sections depend on your access:

  • Browse shows active Catalog publications you can find and add.
  • My Content appears when Catalog content has already been added for you or for one of your organizations.
  • Publishing appears when you have Publisher permission.
  • Discontinued appears when you are a publisher for discontinued submissions.

In browse-style sections, use the content type tabs to switch between Content, Courses, and References. Courses and References are learning items; other supported publications appear under Content.

Search and narrow results

Use Search Catalog in the top bar to filter the current Catalog view. Search matches visible listing details such as the title, description, publisher, category, and tags.

Select a publisher name on a card or detail page to show submissions from that publisher. When a publisher filter is active, choose Show all to return to the full section.

If you are in My Content and belong to organizations, use My Content scope to switch between your own added content and organization-specific content.

Read a Catalog card

Each Catalog card can show:

  • the content type, such as Course, Reference, or other content;
  • state badges such as In Learn, Private, Discontinued, In review, or Rejected when those states apply;
  • title and description;
  • publisher name; and
  • add, learning, reader, or certification counts when available.

Choose a card to open the Catalog detail page.

Review details before adding

The detail page shows the Catalog cover, description, publisher, category, visibility, tags, statistics, screenshots, and available versions. Version rows show the display version, size, changelog when provided, and review or discontinued state.

If an active approved version is available, the detail footer offers supported actions. Content can be added to Library. Courses and References can also be added to Learn or updated when a newer current version is available.

If a publication is missing

  • Clear Search Catalog and remove any publisher filter with Show all.
  • Check that you are in the right section and content type tab.
  • If you expected an item under My Content, confirm the correct My Content scope.
  • Public submissions may be unavailable while they are still in review or after they are rejected.
  • Private submissions appear only for their publisher and private audience.
  • Discontinued or quarantined listings may be hidden from ordinary Browse results, and discontinued versions cannot be selected as current additions.

Ask the publisher or organization manager to confirm audience, publication, review, and lifecycle state if the listing should be visible but is not.
