Troubleshoot Catalog access and additions

Recover missing listings, load failures, unavailable versions, and Library or Learn add problems.

Start with the message shown and the action you were taking. A listing can be visible even when new additions are unavailable.

Catalog could not be loaded

For Catalog couldn't be loaded, check your connection and current account, then select Retry Catalog. Previously loaded cards may remain on screen with a warning that they could be out of date. They do not prove current access.

Technical details contains the request error. If the failure persists, report the visible message, approximate time, and action to your administrator; do not share passwords or authentication tokens.

This Catalog content is unavailable means the listing may no longer exist or you may lack access. Choose Browse Catalog, or ask the publisher to check the audience and listing state.

For Could not load Catalog content, use Try again after checking your connection. Browse Catalog returns to browsing and clears the search and publisher filter.

Search or My Content is empty

  1. Clear Search Catalog and remove a publisher filter with Show all.
  2. Check the section and Content, Courses, or References tab.
  3. In My Content, check the personal or organization scope. On compact screens it follows the active workspace.
  4. Try a short phrase from the listing title. Search does not inspect lesson or Guide content, and the complete phrase must match within one listing field.

Organization My Content reflects publisher and audience relationships, while personal My Content reflects your previous additions. Neither is a Library inventory. Private organization audiences include Staff and Owners, not ordinary members or assigned Clients solely because of that relationship.

Add to Library is missing or fails

The listing must be active and have an approved release that is not discontinued. Pending or rejected versions cannot be added.

In the add dialog, select both Version and Destination. A blank destination requires your choice. If no folder is offered, check edit permission and workspace authoring access. A storage error concerns the chosen destination workspace's capacity.

After an uncertain connection failure, inspect that folder before retrying. Successful repeated additions create separate copies. Later Catalog releases do not update or replace an earlier copy.

Learn is unavailable or already contains the item

Adding requires account content-use licensing and a current approved available release. A private audience grant alone is insufficient. Reopen the listing after access or release status changes.

If already added, use Open in Learn or find it directly in Learn. Update replaces its version and resets progress; it is not a retry or resume button. If an addition's result is uncertain, check Learn before trying again.
