Agent
Agent workspace scope
Understand how the active workspace limits the content the Agent can use.
The active workspace sets the boundary for the Agent's content, conversations, supported actions, and AI credits.
Choose the workspace first
- Use the workspace selector to open the personal or organization workspace you want.
- Open Agent.
- Confirm that the Guide, file, Course, Reference, or schedule you need belongs to that workspace.
- Name the content in your question when possible.
Each conversation belongs to the workspace in which it was created. Switching workspaces loads that workspace's Agent history and AI-credit balance. Conversations do not move between workspaces, so start a new chat in the correct workspace when the subject changes.
What the Agent can search
In an organization workspace, Agent search stays within that organization and requires your current organization membership. In your personal workspace, a broad search can also include Libraries that other people currently share with you.
The Agent checks your current access whenever it searches or opens a source. It excludes folders, Guides, files, and other content that you cannot read. A previous citation or chat message does not preserve access after content is moved, archived, deleted, or no longer shared with you.
CareMap Help is a separate public source for questions about product features, permissions, statuses, and workflows. The Agent may search both CareMap Help and your workspace for a combined question, but it should identify which source supports each part of the answer.
Scope inside an editor
The Guide Agent and Form Agent add the item currently open in the editor as authoring context. Detailed edits apply only to that open Guide or Form. Open a different item before asking for detailed changes to it.
Editor context does not grant additional access. The Agent still follows the active workspace, your current permissions, and the supported actions available on that surface.
When content is missing
- Confirm the correct workspace is active and use the exact content name.
- Check that the source is still shared with you and is not archived or deleted.
- Wait if Agent says the workspace is still preparing its sources, then select Check again when offered.
- Add a Guide or file if the workspace has no searchable sources.
- Ask a narrower follow-up when several items have similar names.
Changing the wording cannot expand the Agent's scope. Ask a workspace owner or organization Manager for access when the content is outside your current permissions.
