Notes and Schedule
Schedule work for multiple clients
Create separate schedules for up to 50 people and recover partial results without repeating successes.
Multiple clients creates a separate schedule for each selected person, using the same source content, timing, recurrence, reminder, and color.
Create a batch
- Open Schedule in the intended workspace and select Schedule content.
- In Content and About, set the title and choose a Guide or Form.
- Select Multiple clients and choose the eligible people. A batch supports up to 50 distinct people.
- Continue through Time and Options.
- Read the notice explaining that these are operator-managed schedules, then select Save schedule.
- Review the result before retrying any person who was not scheduled.
The selected people must meet About permission requirements. The word “clients” on this control does not grant recording access to every organization client.
Understand where the work appears
Each successful item belongs to this workspace's Schedule for authorized operators to launch About the selected person.
This does not create Guide assignments or add these items to each client's own Home or Schedule. Sharing the source Guide with a client does not change that distinction. See Assignments.
The schedules are separate records, not a linked group. Later editing one does not update every person in the original batch. Multiple-client selection is available when creating, not when editing an existing schedule.
Recover a partial result
A result such as 3 of 5 scheduled means three creations succeeded. Failures do not roll back those successful schedules. The dialog remains open when any result failed.
The failed-person list can show:
- Schedule overlap for timing conflicts.
- Unavailable client when the person or necessary access is unavailable.
- Not scheduled or another error when creation failed.
For intentional overlaps, Save blocked overlaps retries the conflict rows from the most recent result. It does not retry every failed person or undo successful rows.
For other retries, use Back and leave only the people who still need a schedule selected before saving again. The original selection is not automatically reduced to failed people. Repeating the full selection can attempt duplicate creations.
Record which people failed before changing fields; changes clear the displayed result. If names could not load, refreshing those names does not itself retry creation. After a connection error, inspect the calendar before resubmitting.
Use overlap guidance to assess warnings, and calendar filters to inspect each person's new items.
