Notes and Schedule
Filter Schedule and read its totals
Filter by Subject, Content, or Folder and understand remembered selections and visible counts.
Schedule filters narrow the items in the currently displayed workspace and date range. They do not search all dates or the entire People and Library directories.
Apply or clear filters
- Open Schedule and choose the date range.
- Select Schedule filters in the toolbar.
- Choose Subject, Content, or Folder.
- Combine filters when you want items matching all selected values.
- Select Done to close the dialog and inspect the results.
- Use Clear or Clear filters to remove all restrictions.
Filter changes apply as you choose them; Done closes the dialog rather than submitting a separate filter request. The toolbar badge counts selected filter categories, not matching items.
| Filter | What it matches |
|---|---|
| Subject | The occurrence's selected person. |
| Content | A particular Guide or Form. |
| Folder | The content's current accessible source folder. |
Folder matching is exact. Choosing a parent folder does not automatically include content in every subfolder. A schedule's owning workspace and its content's source folder are separate concepts.
Understand available choices
Choices come from the currently displayed range before these filters are applied. Subject and content names can come from the occurrence even when a full directory entry is unavailable.
A Folder choice requires a current accessible source folder. A visible occurrence does not always imply access to the source in Library, so it may not offer a corresponding Folder choice.
Filters are remembered per account and workspace on this device. A selection can survive a date or access change and appear as Selected subject unavailable, Selected content unavailable, or Selected folder unavailable. It still restricts results until you clear or replace it.
Read the summary
The totals reflect the visible filtered range:
- Visible counts displayed items.
- Active counts items whose state is not Done.
- Recurring counts displayed recurring items or occurrences, not distinct series.
- Reminders totals pending, failed, and snoozed reminder jobs. One item can contribute more than one reminder.
The filter status explains how many loaded items the filters hide. No scheduled items match these filters differs from an empty unfiltered range. Clear filters before concluding the date has no planned work.
Month's narrow and wide layouts use different visible date scopes. See calendar views. If loading failed or the range is marked incomplete, follow range recovery; totals are not proof that every expected occurrence loaded.
