Notes and Schedule
Recover when another editor changes a schedule
Use Load latest and Reapply my draft without losing sight of another editor's changes.
Another editor changed this schedule. Your draft has not been saved. means the saved schedule changed after your editor opened.
Review and recover the draft
- Keep the editing dialog open and read the change notice.
- Select Load latest.
- Review the latest saved values across Content and About, Time, and Options.
- Make the changes you still need, or choose Reapply my draft to restore your previous draft values.
- Review the resulting fields carefully.
- Select Save schedule or Save series to submit the changes.
Load latest keeps the previous draft in this open dialog while displaying the current saved version. Neither loading nor reapplying saves automatically.
Reapply my draft restores the previous set of values. It is not a field-by-field merge that automatically keeps another editor's changes. Recheck the title, content, About person, times, recurrence, reminder, and color before saving.
If Load latest cannot find the item
The schedule may have moved outside the current date range, been deleted, or become unavailable through your access.
The error leaves the current draft in the dialog. Note any values you need before closing it, then find the schedule in the correct workspace and range. For a recurring series, recovery can use another occurrence of the same series in the current range; it still edits the whole series.
If loading failed because of a connection problem, retry Load latest. Closing the editor discards its unsaved draft and retained recovery copy. Do not rely on this dialog as a saved draft that survives reloads or devices.
Distinguish other save problems
- Invalid dates, timezone, or recurrence fields need correction before saving.
- A timing overlap needs overlap review.
- Lost source or About permission needs access recovery.
- A partial creation batch needs per-person result review.
If a deletion reports a changed schedule, close its confirmation and reopen the latest item before deciding again. Deletion does not offer the editor's Reapply my draft workflow.
See edit, duplicate, and delete for the scope and limits of those actions.
