Getting Started
Reset your password
Recover email-and-password access with a fresh reset link and understand which sessions end.
Use password reset when you cannot remember the password for your account email. If you are already signed in and want to change your Email/password method, follow Authentication settings.
Request and use a reset link
- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password?.
- Enter your account email and select Send reset link.
- Check your inbox and spam folder for the CareMap message. Open the newest reset link.
- Enter and confirm a new password, then select Set password.
- After confirmation, select Back to sign in and use the new password.
Passwords must contain 10–128 characters, including a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and a symbol. The two entries must match.
A reset link expires after one hour and works once. Requesting a replacement supersedes earlier reset links. Keep reset links private.
What changes
A successful reset replaces the account's Email/password credential and revokes all existing account sessions. Devices already signed in must authenticate again when they next need server access. Requesting a reset email alone does not change your password or end sessions.
The reset does not remove your saved workspace content. Use Account sessions after signing in to review active sign-ins.
Missing or rejected links
CareMap returns the same request confirmation whether or not the address matches an account. Confirmation is not proof that a message was delivered.
- Check the account email for mistakes and check spam before requesting another link.
- For an expired, used, or replaced link, request a new one and use only the newest message.
- If you normally use a passkey or external provider, try that existing method rather than creating a duplicate account. Once signed in, review your account email and sign-in methods in Security.
- For a newly arranged account, use its account setup email first. Setup and password-reset links serve different flows.
If recovery still fails, contact your organization manager or CareMap support with the visible message and device type. Do not send your password or reset link.
