Administration
Manage Catalog listings
Quarantine, restore, transfer, or permanently delete retained Catalog submissions.
CareMap administrators manage listings under Admin > Content > Catalog > Listings. Each card shows its publisher, visibility, publication state, lifecycle, and total adds.
Quarantine and restore
Select Quarantine to remove a listing from ordinary Browse and block new Library or Learn additions and Learn version replacement. The action applies immediately.
Quarantine retains the listing, releases, and learning records. Existing authorized viewers may still reach listing details or their already-added Learn item. Independent Library copies remain. Do not use quarantine as an assurance that every copy or saved enrollment has been revoked.
Select Restore on a quarantined listing to set its lifecycle to active. Its public review state and private audience rules still apply. Restoration does not approve a rejected submission or restore individually discontinued versions. It sets active lifecycle even if the listing was discontinued before it was quarantined.
Publishers cannot lift administrator quarantine themselves.
Transfer the publisher
- Select Transfer on the intended listing.
- Enter the destination's existing full account or organization ID in the
prompt, including its
account:ororganization:prefix. - Submit and verify the publisher name on the refreshed listing.
The prompt expects an ID, not a display name or email address. Canceling the prompt leaves the listing unchanged.
Transfer changes the Catalog publisher and associated ownership accounting. It does not move the original Library source or grant Library access. The new publisher still needs Publisher permission, and organization management still requires the appropriate role. Future releases must use content owned by that publisher. Existing audience grants are not replaced by the transfer.
Permanently delete
- Select the listing's Permanently delete trash action.
- Wait for CareMap to load the impact and show confirmation.
- Check the title and the warning about every release.
- Review any displayed Learn counts before confirming, or cancel.
Deletion removes the listing and every release. Associated Learn items, learning runs, progress, assessment attempts, certificates, and certificate validation records are also deleted. Counts can include completed learning and historical certificates, not just active learners.
The extra learning-impact paragraph is shown when Learn items exist; its absence is not a guarantee that no historical learning records remain. Permanent deletion differs from publisher discontinuation and administrator quarantine, which retain learning records.
Independent Library copies and the original Library source are not deleted by removing the Catalog listing. This action has no restore control.
If no confirmation appears, reopen Catalog administration and check the listing; the impact request may have failed. If deletion or transfer reports an error, reload current state before repeating it.
