Report delivery history and Send to me

Record a PDF delivery to yourself, interpret Recorded status, and retry eligible failed delivery entries.

Send to me currently prepares a PDF and records a delivery entry for your account. Recorded means that CareMap saved the entry; it does not confirm an email, external transmission, or receipt.

Record a delivery to yourself

  1. Open an active Report that you can review.
  2. Open Export and select Send to me.
  3. Wait while CareMap prepares the PDF.
  4. Read the result message and review Delivery history in Overview.

This action does not open a device save prompt. To obtain a file, choose Export > PDF and finish its download.

There is no recipient chooser in the current Report detail action. Existing history can contain other destination types, but those entries do not add a new sharing control or create public links.

Read a delivery entry

Delivery history appears when records exist. It shows the destination, request and completion/update times, attempt count, format, filename, size, and any failure or retry information. Newer updates appear first.

States include:

  • Queued: a delivery record is waiting.
  • Sending: an attempt is in progress.
  • Recorded: the delivery record was saved.
  • Failed: the attempt did not complete as recorded.

A history entry is not proof that its recipient currently has permission to open the live Report. Source or organization labels are not delivery receipts.

Retry a failed entry

  1. Open Overview and find the failed entry in Delivery history.
  2. Read its failure message and check the remaining attempt information.
  3. Use Retry when it is offered and wait for the updated state.

Retry requires a failed, retryable entry with attempts remaining, current Report and recipient eligibility, and the original delivery requester or an administrator. The button can appear to another reviewer who cannot complete the retry; in that case, ask the requester to handle it.

A successfully Recorded entry is not retried through this control. Repeating Send to me can create another history entry, so inspect the existing result before repeating an uncertain request.

Unavailable actions

Voiding a Report disables new delivery and delivery retries. Existing history and authorized evidence downloads remain available.

If preparation or recording fails, follow the displayed connection, access, or export message. Losing Report access also prevents using a previously prepared file as authority for a new delivery.

For an actual saved copy or approved external sharing, follow Report exports and your organization's process.
