Notes and Schedule
Snooze a schedule reminder
Choose a later reminder time, check its timezone, and understand local notification limitations.
Snooze saves a later due time for a reminder without moving the scheduled work or an assignment's due date.
Current local-alert limit: snoozed reminders are saved and displayed, but CareMap's local notification preparation currently includes only Pending reminders. Snooze does not prepare a replacement local alert. Use Home or Schedule to return to the work.
Choose a later time
- Open an active Guide, Form, or assignment due reminder in Home or Schedule.
- Select Snooze, or Actions > Choose snooze time.
- In Snooze for, choose 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, Tomorrow at 9:00 AM, or Custom time. The initial choice is 1 hour.
- For Custom time, enter Custom date and time. Read the Times use timezone and Snoozed until preview.
- Select Snooze reminder and confirm the card shows Snoozed.
Cancel leaves the reminder unchanged. Saving closes the dialog after success.
Time and availability
The short presets count from when you submit. Tomorrow means 9:00 AM on the next calendar day in your device's current timezone. Custom time uses that same timezone, which may differ from the schedule's timezone; the card can display the saved instant in the schedule's zone.
Custom time must be in the future and no more than 14 days away. A nonexistent clock time during a daylight-saving jump is rejected. Choose another valid time. If you leave the dialog open, the selection is checked again when saved.
Pending, failed, and already snoozed reminders can be snoozed. Delivered, acknowledged, canceled, and skipped reminders cannot. Done or skipped occurrences and inactive assignments cannot be controlled.
The correct workspace, content access, and visibility of the attached person's Reports are required for ordinary users. The saved snooze is shared with other authorized viewers.
Recover or change your choice
Reopen Snooze to choose another time while it remains available, or use Ack to acknowledge it. There is no separate Unsnooze button.
If the reminder changed while the dialog was open, cancel and reopen the current details. If it now appears done, skipped, or acknowledged, choose the appropriate action on the work instead.
Snoozing clears the current reminder failure display; it does not repair device permission or delivery problems. A schedule edit can reset the snooze. See reminder changes and device setup.
