Resume or recover a folder ZIP import
Continue a partially imported ZIP, keep completed items, and distinguish Retry from starting another copy.
Folder ZIP imports save progress as they create folders and items. Closing the dialog or encountering an error can leave a partially imported tree in Library.
The same signed-in account must still be able to edit the original destination and its imported folders. Authoring and storage requirements are checked again when work continues.
Resume after closing the dialog
- Open the original destination folder in Library.
- Select More Library actions > Import ZIP folder.
- Confirm Import into points to that destination.
- Under Unfinished folder imports, select Resume for the intended ZIP.
- Keep the dialog open until Folder imported successfully. appears.
- Select Open imported folder and inspect the result.
Reopening lists up to ten recent unfinished imports for your account and that destination. It does not show another person's work or an import that was only uploaded and never started.
Resuming reuses completed work from that import. Uploading the ZIP again starts a separate copy and can add another root folder with a numbered name.
Retry a visible error
If the dialog still shows your import and an error, read the message, correct the cause, and select Retry. A temporary connection or file-verification problem may need a short wait before retrying.
For permission or capacity errors, restore edit access or available workspace capacity first. Do not move or delete partially imported folders and files while planning to resume; CareMap may refuse to recreate or continue through removed content.
Closing the dialog stops additional batches after the current request. It does not roll back completed items. Counts show completed folders and items, so progress can remain visible after an error.
If the upload expired or is unavailable
When CareMap asks you to choose the file again, select the local ZIP. An expired or damaged stored upload cannot be resumed from that copy.
Before starting over, inspect the partial tree already in Library. A fresh upload does not automatically remove it. Keep useful work, or use the normal folder deletion workflow after reviewing its impact.
If you only uploaded and previewed a ZIP before closing, choose it again; unfinished-import recovery begins after importing starts.
If no resume entry appears
Check the account, Library source, and exact destination. The list is limited, so it is not a complete archive of every earlier attempt. Completed imports are no longer unfinished; look for their folder in Library.
If the original destination or imported root was removed, the old job cannot simply restore it. Choose an editable destination for a new copy after reviewing any remaining partial content.
