Mobile and offline settings

Mobile & Offline settings summarize recoverable Guide session changes, Guide packages saved on this device, and packaged-client capability checks. These details belong to the current browser or device; they do not describe storage on another device.

Open Mobile & Offline settings

1. Open Settings from the main navigation.
2. Select Mobile & Offline.
3. Review Session Sync, Offline Packages, and Native Readiness.

Review Session Sync

Session Sync lists recoverable Guide session changes saved on this device. Its summary shows the number of affected sessions and changes, including items that need a retry or are blocked. Each row names the Guide when available, shows a status such as Queued, Syncing, Retry, Blocked, or Conflict, and explains the current state.

Select Refresh sync status after reconnecting or returning to CareMap. If an item still needs attention, follow its message when you resume the affected Guide. All synced means no recoverable session changes are waiting on this device.

Manage Offline Packages

Offline Packages shows the number of locally saved Guide packages, their estimated storage, and counts for Ready, Partial, Stale, and Failed packages. It also shows when package cleanup last ran.

Use the cleanup actions to remove package state from this device:

• Clear stale removes packages that no longer match the current Guide or CareMap version.
• Clear failed removes unsuccessful package downloads.
• Clear all removes every saved package after you select Confirm clear all. Select Cancel to keep them instead.

Cleaning offline packages does not delete the original Guides or other synced workspace content. You must prepare a Guide for offline use again before using its removed package without a connection.

Check Native Readiness

Native Readiness checks device features used by the packaged CareMap app, including secure sign-in storage, camera and media support, speech capture, offline downloads, and notifications. Ready means the available adapters passed. Needs attention identifies a permission, failure, or version issue; read the affected row for the next clue. Select Check again after changing a device permission or updating the app.

In a web browser, native-only checks can appear unsupported or Unavailable. That is expected and does not prevent supported browser features from working.
