Account and Settings
Import settings: link your MyGuide 11 account
Link a MyGuide 11 account, discover its Guides, and manage the connection used for conversion.
Open Settings > Account > Import to connect your MyGuide 11 account and convert its Guides into CareMap.
The connection belongs to your signed-in CareMap account. Converted Guides go into MyGuide 11 in your personal Library, even when another workspace is selected. Creating the copies requires personal workspace authoring access and available storage. Organization membership alone does not change the destination.
Link the source account
- Under MyGuide 11 connection, enter the source User ID and API key.
- Select Link account.
- Wait for Linked and check the connected user ID.
- Review MyGuide 11 Guides, grouped by source library.
CareMap verifies the proposed credentials before saving the connection. The API key input clears after success and is not filled from the saved connection when you return. Keep the key private.
Use Refresh libraries to discover the source account again. A connection can remain Linked even if a later library request fails; read the current message rather than assuming the source is still reachable.
Choose how to convert
- Convert an individual Guide to review one item at a time.
- Convert all of my guides to queue a background batch.
- Select JSON beside a Guide to download its original source data without
converting it. This is not a CareMap
.guidepackage or a complete media backup.
Replace credentials or switch accounts
Enter the desired User ID and API key, then select Verify and replace account. Failed verification leaves the saved connection unchanged.
Changing to another source account pauses an active batch from the original account. Reconnect the original account to resume it. Verifying a replacement key for that same account can also resume a batch paused by rejected credentials. Wait for an individual conversion to finish before changing its source connection.
Unlink
Select Unlink account when available. This removes the connection and clears the discovered library list; imported CareMap Guides remain.
During a bulk conversion, unlinking pauses remaining work. It is not the same as Cancel remaining and does not roll back a Guide already being converted. The UI disables unlinking while an individual conversion is active outside a batch.
