Save and manage Report views
Save personal Report filters and search, rename or delete views, and recover unavailable selections.
A saved Report view reuses filters and search for your account in a particular workspace. It does not share Reports, freeze their results, or change access. Sorting and page position are not part of the saved view.
Save and apply a view
- Open Reports in the intended workspace and choose the Reports tab.
- Set search and Report filters to the results you want.
- Open Report views, enter a Name, and select Save.
- Later, open Report views and choose the saved entry under View.
- Select Done and review the current matching Reports.
The View chooser supports search and paging. CareMap trims excess spaces and limits saved names to 80 characters, so use a short, distinctive name. Saved views belong to you; another person's account does not automatically receive them.
Selecting a saved view applies its filters and search and returns to the first page. The results reflect current Reports and permissions, not the records visible when you originally saved it.
Rename or revise a view
To rename a view, select it, change Name, and choose Update. Update is available only while an existing saved view is selected.
Changing a control in Report filters switches the selection to Custom view and clears the draft name. To retain that revised filter set, open Report views, enter a name, and choose Save to create a new view. Re-selecting the old view reapplies its old filters; it does not preserve your unsaved revisions. Search alone can change while an existing view remains selected, in which case Update saves the current search with that view.
Save always creates a new saved view. It is different from Update. Use different names for revisions so you can identify the old entry.
Delete or leave a view
- In Report views, select the entry you want to remove.
- Choose Delete. The current control deletes immediately, without a separate confirmation dialog.
- Confirm that Custom view is selected.
Deleting a saved view removes its saved configuration, not its Reports. Current filters remain applied. Choosing Custom view by itself also keeps the current filters. Use Reset in Report filters to clear search and filters.
Filters, sorting, and the selected view are remembered per workspace during the current app session. This convenience is separate from explicitly saving a named view.
Recover a missing or outdated view
An unavailable selection can mean the view was deleted, cannot be loaded, or belongs to a different workspace. Check the workspace and use Retry for a load failure. A stale-filter notice means a saved subject, workflow, or folder is no longer visible. Choose Custom view, revise or Reset filters, and save a replacement if needed.
If Save, Update, or Delete fails, read the message and retry after resolving the connection or access problem. A saved view never restores lost Report access.
