Export a Schedule calendar file

Download the current filtered range as an iCalendar file and understand snapshot limits.

Export visible Schedule range downloads an iCalendar .ics file for the items in the current filtered view.

Export the desired dates

  1. Open Schedule in the intended workspace.
  2. Choose the view and dates you want to export.
  3. Apply or clear Schedule filters.
  4. Wait for loading to finish and resolve any range-loading error.
  5. Select Export visible Schedule range, the download icon.
  6. Save the file using your device's download or save flow.
  7. Import it into a calendar application that accepts .ics files and check the dates and times there.

The filename includes the exported range's dates. Export does not change CareMap schedules or complete their work.

Know what the file contains

Each exported item includes its title, starting instant, ending instant when present, and a generic description identifying it as a CareMap Schedule export. The saved timezone is retained as additional event metadata.

The file does not include full Guide/Form content, answers, Reports, reminder alarms, recipient invitations, or a CareMap launch action. A title can still contain wording you entered about a person or activity.

Recurring work is exported as individual occurrences in this range. It is not an unlimited repeating-calendar rule. Skipped occurrences are omitted. Other visible items, including completed occurrences when shown, can be exported; completion status is not transferred as calendar status.

Match the screen's date scope

Wide Month exports matching items from its six-week calendar, including adjacent-month dates. Narrow Month exports only the selected month's displayed dates. The + more shortcut changes to a 30-day Agenda, so check the range label before exporting from there.

Export uses the loaded visible collection. A warning that the range may be incomplete also means the export may be incomplete; export can still be available in that state. Follow range recovery rather than treating a successfully downloaded file as proof of complete coverage.

Understand the snapshot

This is a downloaded snapshot, not a subscribed or synchronized calendar. Later CareMap edits, cancellations, or access changes do not update a file you already imported.

Times are exported as fixed instants; the receiving calendar may display them in its own timezone. Reimport behavior, including duplicate handling, depends on that application.

If exporting fails, read the error shown in Schedule, check the device's save flow, and retry. The export control is disabled while the range is loading or has a loading error.
