Notes and Schedule
Format Note text and insert images
Use rich text, tables, links, image controls, and Markdown source editing in a Note.
The Note body supports rich text, tables, links, and embedded images. Formatting changes become part of the next explicit Note save.
Format the body
- Create or edit the Note and open the Note tab.
- Place the cursor or select the text you want to change.
- Use bold, italic, underline, inline code, list, checklist, or link controls.
- Use Block type for Paragraph, Quote, headings, Code block, or Separator.
- Insert a table; while inside it, use Add row, Add column, or Remove table. Review alignment as needed.
- Select Create Note or Save new revision when finished.
Link editing is also available with Control+K or Command+K. A checklist in Note text is written content; it does not create a Schedule assignment.
Insert an image
Use Insert image to choose device images. You can also paste an image file or drop it into the body. Wait for uploading or copying to finish before saving or closing.
Copying CareMap rich text containing images may create authorized copies for this destination. Access to the source image and destination storage are required; copying text does not grant access to an otherwise unavailable image.
Select an image's Edit control to set Alternative text, Caption, and optional Width. Width must be positive and no greater than 10,000; leave it blank for the default size. Select Save in that image dialog, then save the Note itself. Remove removes the image from the draft body.
For a failed image operation, use its Retry or Cancel control. Pending or failed resource work can keep Note saving paused until resolved. See attachments for size, access, and revision-history behavior.
Use Source mode carefully
The Source mode button shows Markdown. If the content contains formatting Markdown cannot represent, CareMap displays a warning and requires Enable source editing before changes.
Simply viewing the source is not a conversion. Editing it can simplify formatting. Return to Rich text, review the result, and explicitly save the Note when ready. Source editing is not a way to attach private images by pasting their identifiers.
If you need to recover an unsaved version, use Saved drafts.
