Edit Catalog details and images

Change listing text, categories, tags, covers, and screenshot descriptions without creating a content release.

Edit details changes the Catalog page shared by the submission's versions. Use New version when the underlying Guide, Form, Course, or other content changes.

Edit and save

  1. Open your submission in Catalog > Publishing.
  2. Choose Edit details, directly or under Manage submission.
  3. Update Title, Description, Category, and tag selections.
  4. Keep the current cover and screenshots, replace the cover, or add/remove screenshots. Existing images do not need re-uploading.
  5. Add a description to each screenshot when useful.
  6. Choose the action shown and wait for success.

Title and cover are required. Title allows 200 characters; description allows 20,000. Categories and tags come from the administrator-maintained choices.

Cover and screenshot controls

For a cover, click the preview or Choose image / Choose replacement, or drop an image onto the preview. One image becomes the cover. Choose a landscape image that presents the content clearly.

Upload screenshots accepts multiple image files. Remove unwanted screenshots with their trash controls. Each Screenshot # description allows 2,000 characters and supplies alternative text; blank descriptions use a generic screenshot label. They do not change the original Library image's description.

Uploads require a selected publisher and use that publisher's workspace storage. Each image must be nonempty and no larger than 50,000,000 bytes. Wait for uploads to finish before saving. If an image is unavailable or an upload fails, keep the editor open, check the message, and choose a working replacement or retry the upload.

A ready source cover can initialize a new submission, but screenshots are added explicitly. Once published, these images are captured listing assets. Changing the Library source's cover later does not change the Catalog page.

Understand the save action

  • Private submission: Save applies the presentation immediately.
  • Approved public submission: Submit update sends a listing-details proposal for review. The approved public page remains unchanged meanwhile.
  • Public submission awaiting its overall review: Save details retains corrections for that review.
  • Rejected public submission: Save details retains corrections, but you must separately choose Resubmit for review.

Edit details reopens the latest saved revision, including pending or rejected changes. The main listing can still show its previous presentation. The Latest saved details notice explains that difference; it does not mean your corrections were lost.

A failed save keeps the inputs in the open editor. Closing without a successful save abandons unsaved form edits. Canceling a pending details review discards that proposal; see Review status and cancellation.
