Inspect AI processing and search health

Read CareMap RAG metrics for queues, workers, documents, and accounting without changing jobs.

Global administrators use Admin → Dashboard → Readiness → CareMap RAG to inspect aggregate health for AI search and background processing.

Review the metrics

  1. Open the CareMap RAG card.
  2. Read its state and Overview feature availability.
  3. Select the metric tab relevant to the affected workflow.
  4. Compare counts, ages, and the snapshot time.
  5. To obtain a new snapshot, use Dashboard → Overview → Refresh, then return to the card.

These tabs inspect summaries. They do not start workers, change configuration, retry jobs, rebuild data, or adjust balances. Content and individual source identifiers are omitted.

Choose a metric tab

TabWhat to inspect
OverviewIndexing, Retrieval, Query runtime, Generation, and AI credits availability.
Compute workerWorker status, heartbeat freshness, and counts of ready, stale, or other worker states.
CapacityConfigured, Active, Ready, and In use execution slots for each work type.
PressureJobs currently eligible for processing and their oldest ages.
High WaterSampled maximum eligible backlogs over 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days.
IngestionAI-search preparation states and active processing stages.
Profile DocumentsUploads, indexing, comparisons, accounting, cleanup, and time until searchable.
Smart PDFsField detection, answer research, wording, previews, completion, and their timing/accounting.
ParserUnsettled processing handoffs, reconciliation, and conflicts.
TombstonesRetained cleanup work and items due for cleanup.
Rebuilds and CutoversRebuild progress and transitions between search-processing profiles.
AccountingLocal ingestion reservations and work awaiting credit settlement.

Here, Cutovers concerns search-processing profiles, not people's Profile pages.

Interpret limits and states

Disabled means indexing, retrieval, and generation are all disabled. A Ready badge does not mean the queues are empty or every worker is healthy; inspect those tabs separately. Feature availability and worker/queue metrics answer different questions.

Configured capacity is not the same as Ready or unused capacity. Pressure counts eligible work, not every retained or waiting job.

High Water shows sampled peaks, with coverage and last-sample information. Unavailable is not zero; incomplete samples cannot establish the maximum for an unsampled period.

Smart PDF timing uses available samples from retained jobs during the last 24 hours. It includes queue and recovery delays. No samples means timing is unavailable. Accounting shows processing reservations, not a person's complete purchase or billing history.

When telemetry is unavailable

The card can report Unavailable while other Operations data still works. Refresh from the dashboard Overview. If the problem persists, provide the affected tab, state, snapshot time, and aggregate values through an authorized support channel. Use the original item or Jobs for any offered recovery action.
