Personal Guide button images
Use familiar Back, Next, and Complete images in Guide playback.
Choose familiar symbols for Guide controls in Settings > Accessibility > Guide player. Images belong to your account and follow its saved preferences. They do not change the Guide's content.
Choose Back and Next symbols
- Find Navigation buttons.
- Under Button style, choose Default, Code Set, or Custom.
- Review Button preview. Default uses arrows; Code Set uses the supplied Back and Next symbols.
- For Custom, select Choose Back image or Choose Next image.
- Upload a local image or choose an available Library or Code Set image. Selection saves the image for that button.
- With a non-default style, choose whether to Show button labels.
Switching styles keeps your custom images saved. Choose Custom again to reuse them. Use default arrow clears only that button's custom image; it does not clear the other button or change the style.
An unavailable custom image falls back to an arrow. Hiding the visible labels does not remove the buttons' accessible names. Page button size adjusts these controls separately. These images customize Back and Next, not the navigation Finish button.
Choose a Complete image
- Find Completion image.
- Select Choose image.
- Upload a local image or use an available image source in the picker.
- Wait for the selected image to save and appear in the preview.
This image personalizes supported Complete controls within activities. It is not an end-of-Guide background or a replacement for the Finish navigation button. A Guide builder's image for a particular activity takes priority; your personal image is the fallback. Without an available image, a checkmark appears.
Select Use default checkmark to clear your personal completion image. Image sources differ by use: navigation offers Library and Code Set, while completion can offer Code Set and available Pixabay search. Unavailable sources are shown as unavailable rather than supplying an image.
Recover from an image problem
If a save fails, check your connection and choose the image again. An image must be available to your account; an inaccessible or removed file cannot become a saved personal button image. Choosing a Library image for navigation creates a personal copy and can require available storage.
If a Guide still shows an activity-specific Complete image, its builder chose that image. Test another activity without an override, or change the Guide if you have editing access. Clearing your personal image does not remove the builder's image.
