Supplier Catalog installation
Install Supplier-visible Catalog content in a managed account's Library or Learn area.
Supplier Catalog installation creates an account-owned copy of a Catalog release in a managed account's Library or Learn area. The managed account does not gain access to the original Catalog submission.
Who can install content
The Supplier workspace is available to an eligible organization's Owner or manager while that organization's Supplier access is active. Installation is limited to accounts that appear under Supplier > Accounts.
The available releases come from the Supplier organization's Catalog access, not from the managed account. This can include approved public releases, the Supplier organization's own approved releases, and approved private releases shared with that organization.
Add a release to a managed account
- Switch to the organization that owns the Supplier relationship, then open Supplier > Accounts.
- Find the managed account and choose Content under Access.
- In Manage account content, review Account storage and Provisioning history.
- Under Add from Catalog, search for and select a release. Check its publisher, visibility, version, content type, and Library size.
- Choose a destination. Available releases can be added to Library; Courses and References can also be added to Learn.
- Choose Add to Library or Add to Learn.
Folder submissions keep their complete nested structure. CareMap blocks the same release from being queued, installed, or completed in the same destination more than once. When another destination is supported, you can add the release there separately.
Follow installation progress
Installation runs on the server, so you can close the dialog while it finishes. Open Content again to return to Provisioning history. Each entry shows the selected destination and release version with one of these states:
- Queued: the installation is waiting to start.
- Installing: CareMap is creating the account-owned content.
- Complete: the content is available in the selected destination.
- Failed: installation stopped; read the displayed message before trying again.
The dialog refreshes automatically while an installation is active.
Storage and access requirements
The managed account needs an active storage allowance with remaining capacity for either destination. A Library installation also needs enough remaining space for the release's displayed Library size. CareMap disables the add action when storage is not configured, no capacity remains, or a Library release is too large.
Supplier installation copies content into the managed account's destination. It does not let the managed account browse or share the original submission, and it does not give the Supplier operator access to the installed copy.
If installation is unavailable
- Clear Search Catalog if no releases match. If a release is still missing, confirm that it is approved, active, and visible to the Supplier organization.
- If the account is missing, confirm that you selected the correct organization and that the account is still assigned to this Supplier.
- If Add to Library or Add to Learn is disabled, select a release, check for a prior installation in that destination, and review Account storage.
- If an installation stays active, close the dialog and check Provisioning history later.
- If an installation fails, read its message, correct the release, account assignment, access, or storage problem, then select the release and destination again.
When requesting help, share the Supplier organization, managed account, release title and version, destination, state, and displayed message. Do not share passwords or private Catalog content.
