Organization Packages and Licenses
Review or manage organization Packages, Licenses, storage, and AI allowance.
An organization License assigns a Package to that organization workspace. Each Package can supply capabilities, storage capacity, and monthly AI credits. Several active Packages combine to produce the workspace's effective grants.
Licensing does not replace organization membership, folder permissions, or other access rules. An account License applies only to the personal workspace; an organization License applies only to that organization workspace.
Review organization Licensing
Switch to the organization workspace, open Organization, then select Licensing. This destination is available to organization managers who can manage Licensing. It shows:
- Effective grants, combined live across every active Package
- Storage capacity and Next-cycle AI credits supplied by those Packages
- Active License Package names, issue and expiration dates, sources, commercial terms, and grants
- Past Licenses, including expired and revoked history
Select Refresh when the displayed state may be out of date. If there are no active Licenses, no Package grants currently contribute to the organization.
Manage organization Licenses as an administrator
Global administrators open Admin > Access > Organizations, open the organization, then select Licenses. Use Add Package to choose a Package, review its read-only grants, enter the USD amount and monthly or yearly billing cadence, and choose whether the License expires.
An organization can hold several active Packages, but the same Package cannot be active twice. Package grants resolve from the Package's live revision; the License form changes assignment terms, not the grant definition.
For an active non-Base License:
- Use Correct terms to change its amount, cadence, or expiration.
- Use Revoke to stop its grants immediately. The License remains in Past Licenses, with the reason when one was recorded.
- Open Past Licenses and use Reissue when that Package is still active and assignable.
Base Package Licenses are managed by the global Base Package configuration, so their rows do not offer correction or revocation controls.
Check storage and AI usage
The Licensing summary shows the capacity and next-cycle credits granted by Packages. Global administrators can compare those allowances with current usage in Admin > Access > Organizations > the organization > Overview. The storage card shows used, available, and categorized storage; the AI card shows available, granted, used, reserved, and permanent credits.
If an allowance or capability looks wrong, refresh Licensing, confirm the expected Package is active and unexpired, then check its source and grants. Ask a global administrator to correct or reissue the License when the workspace view does not offer those actions.
